Braaave Architecture

Braaave Architecture documents the epic construction boom taking place in New York at the start of the 21st century. The introduction of the first “Supertall” structures along the 57th Street corridor has transformed the character of the city along with the skyline. Architects Jean Nouvel, Rafael Viñoly, Frank Gehry, Santiago Calatrava, and Robert A.M. Stern make their mark on the city.

The building features a giant pedestal at it’s base and the entire superstructure will be suspended by a platform of 16 hollow concrete bridge span supports being built over the New Jersey Transit and Amtrak  train tracks.
